The Major Arcana
The Major Arcana are the twenty-two cards without a suit. Where the Minor Arcana describe the texture of a week, these describe the shape of a chapter: the decisions, losses and turns that a life gets organised around.
They run from The Fool at zero to The World at twenty-one, and readers often treat that run as a single journey. It is a useful way to learn them, as long as you do not take it too literally. Nobody moves through those stages in order.
One practical note: several Major Arcana in the same spread usually means the situation is bigger than the question. If someone asks about a specific week and draws The Tower, Death and Judgement, the week is not the subject.
